Established in 1997, OnTap Data offer end to end data management, storage, and business intelligence services to the Australian liquor and hospitality industry. After a period of sustained growth in the business, founders and owners Leith McGregor and John Bruzzaniti have appointed a new General Manager, Greg Schroeders, to manage the day-to-day operations and continue the development of innovative data and intelligence solutions.
Greg joins the business with 24 years of experience in the hospitality Point of Sale industry and over 30 years of IT experience. Starting at H&L as a technician, trainer and support member servicing Victorian and Tasmanian clients, Greg then moved to the Software Development Manager role, held a role on H&L’s board for over 2 years as Director of Product Development and finally completed this tenure with H&L as Chief Product Owner.
Key career achievements include creating a class leading Head Office control system, while maintaining flexibility, speed and redundancy at the venue. Greg was involved in the process of sales and onboarding whilst leading the customisation and supporting large corporates such as ALH Group, Rockpool Dining, The Lucas Group, Solotel, Australian Venue Co, as well as individual operators.
Owner Leith McGregor says “Greg brings a wealth of hospitality and IT experience to OnTap Data after more than 20 years working for H&L Australia in a number of senior leadership roles. The analysis and management of data for large groups has always been a pivotal component of his career and we look forward to the unique perspective he will bring to the OnTap business”.
